Product search information — When you search for products in the app, your search terms are sent to our backend so that we can return matching products from our catalogue.

Language preference — If you switch between English and Tamil, your language preference is stored locally on your device. This preference is not transmitted to our servers.

Network and technical information — When the app communicates with our backend, standard technical information such as an IP address may be processed as part of normal internet communication and server access logging.

Information we do not collect. The app does not request or collect:

To provide enquiry and order history — The "Track My Orders" feature allows users to enter the phone number associated with their enquiries. An OTP (one-time password) is sent to that phone number to verify that the user has access to the number. After successful OTP verification, the user can view the enquiry and order history associated with that phone number, including enquiries and orders handled offline through our business.

To provide product search — Search terms are sent to our backend so that the app can return matching products from our catalogue.

To remember your language preference — Your selected language preference is stored only on your device so that the app can remember whether you prefer English or Tamil.

Advertising — We do not use your personal information for advertising or create advertising profiles from your information.

Your enquiry information is used by Rain or Shine Sivakasi Crackers to respond to enquiries and coordinate offline order fulfillment.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Backend hosting — Information submitted through the app is transmitted to our backend API at api.crackersmart.in. Our backend infrastructure is hosted in India through SquareBrothers, which provides the hosting infrastructure used to operate our API and related services. SquareBrothers may technically process or store information as necessary to provide the hosting infrastructure and operate our backend services.

Legal requirements — We may disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or a valid request from government or law-enforcement authorities.

We retain enquiry and order information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
